4-Day Lake Baikal Tours
Four days on Olkhon Island — the most complete short format for Lake Baikal. Explore the island's iconic capes, hidden bays, sacred sites, and Small Sea islands at a pace that lets you actually take it all in. Private guide, hotel pickup from Irkutsk, 3 nights included.
The Most Complete Short Baikal Package
A 4-day Lake Baikal tour is built around one destination: Olkhon Island. At 71 km long and 15 km wide, Olkhon is the largest island on the lake and one of the most geographically diverse places in Siberia — with steppe in the south, dense taiga forest in the center, and dramatic cliffs dropping into open water in the north.
Three days covers the highlights. Four days covers everything.
The extra day on the island opens up the Small Sea — the strait between Olkhon and the mainland, dotted with smaller islands that most visitors never reach. You'll visit Zamagoi, Ogoi, and Altrek: a cluster of islands with transparent ice up to 1.5 meters thick in winter, and the remarkable Buddhist Stupa of the Great Awakening on Ogoi Island, one of the most unexpected and quietly powerful places on the lake. The day continues to Kobylya Head Peninsula, where the landscape of the frozen or open lake stretches out in every direction.
Both summer and winter formats are available. The island looks and feels completely different in each season — but the itinerary covers the same essential ground, adapted to conditions on the ground.
All tours depart from Irkutsk with full hotel pickup. Groups of up to 5 people travel privately with a dedicated English-speaking guide.

The Small Sea islands on the third day — that's what makes the 4-day format special. Most visitors to Olkhon never get there. The stupa on Ogoi Island in winter, surrounded by transparent ice — it's one of those places that's very hard to describe and very easy to remember. If you have four days, use them.
