The Wooden Architecture Museum is located on the right bank of the Angara river, 47 km away from Irkutsk city. There are monuments of architectural heritage and different exhibits of high historical value. Acres of forested land are filled with wooden structures replicating the buildings of historical Siberian villages, including houses, farmsteads, churches, and a school building. Take the opportunity to see and be acquainted with the life of old Siberia.

Located at the entrance to Listvyanka. Here you can learn about the origin and history of the lake. The museum features aquariums with different types of fish, as well as endemic species of mammals, such as by the Baikal seal and exhibitions about the flora and fauna. Also you can see underwater life of lake (video excursions) through the portholes of a submarine and visit the maximum depth of the lake 1637 meters.

On the market you can find and buy some memorable souvenirs and try delicious hot smoked or salted different fish from lake.

The church was built in 1846 on the Angara riverbank by a Russian merchant Serebryakov who was saved by St. Nicholas while crossing the lake during a terrible storm. After the founding of the village Listvyanka the church was moved to the shore of Baikal. In 1957 it was moved once again for 500 meters inland in the Krestovaya Pad in Listvyanka, with the beginning of construction of the Irkutsk hydroelectric power station. At the same time is a lovely functioning church, performing regular services.

Chersky stone is an observation platform named after a famous polish geologist Ivan Chersky, at a height of more than 728 meters. You can go to the view point on foot from parking ski resort - a short walk of about a kilometer, or via ski lift. From there you get stunning amazing views of the southern Baikal, Circum-Baikal Railway, and the source of Angara river with the Shaman Rock. The Shaman Rock is the natural monument of many legends and mysterious stories about Baikal.
